Day 1 | Arrival in Paro ValleyParo Valley
Arrive in Bhutan at Paro International Airport and meet your representative, who will assist you throughout your stay. Transfer to your hotel for check-in.
Visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and discover artifacts dating back to 4000 BC, offering a fascinating insight into Bhutanese history and culture.
Explore the architectural masterpiece, Rinpung Dzong, also known as the “Fortress on a Heap of Jewels,” a stunning example of Bhutanese heritage.
Leisure time to relax and enjoy the surroundings of Paro Town.

Day 2 | Start Drukpath Trek – Paro to Jele DzongParo to Jele Dzong
Enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel before driving to the National Museum of Bhutan, perched above Paro, where your trek begins.
The trek starts from the museum, ascending gently through apple orchards, smallholdings of Damchena village, and pine forests. Along the way, enjoy the stunning scenery of Paro Valley with snow-capped peaks in the distance, including the majestic Mount Jomolhari (7,314m) if weather permits.
Reach Jele Dzong (3,490m), perched on a whaleback ridge. Although mostly in ruins, it houses a Lhakhang with a statue of Buddha Sakyamuni, offering a spiritual and historical highlight of the trek.
Settle into your overnight camp at 3,480m and enjoy the serene mountain surroundings.

Day 3 | Jele Dzong to JangchulakhaJele Dzong to Jangchulakha
After breakfast at camp, begin your trek with a gradual ascent, followed by a gentle descent below the ridgeline, walking through dense alpine forests and rhododendron trails. Keep an eye out for yak herders along the way.
Take in the breathtaking views of Mount Jomolhari and surrounding snow-capped peaks. You may also hear the calls of local Himalayan birds and glimpses of the monal pheasant.
Continue your uphill walk to reach a yak herders’ pasture at Jangchulakha (3,780m), offering stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan range. Overnight camping is set in this serene pasture near the hillside.

Day 4 | Jangchulakha to Jimilangtsho LakeJangchulakha to Jimilangtsho Lake
After breakfast at camp, follow the trail along the ridge, passing through juniper groves and dwarf rhododendrons, while enjoying spectacular views of the Thimphu and Paro mountain valleys.
The trek includes a gradual ascent followed by a steep descent, leading you to Jimilangtsho Lake (3,880m), renowned for its giant-sized trout and tranquil waters. Marvel at the majestic Mt. Jichu Drake (6,989m), considered the protective deity of Paro.
Overnight camping is arranged near the serene Jimilangtsho Lake, surrounded by alpine scenery.

Day 5 | Jimilangtsho to SimkotaJimilangtsho to Simkota
After breakfast at camp, continue your trek along trails lined with dwarf rhododendrons, passing by the serene Janetsho Lake. Along the way, you may encounter yak herders’ camps, offering a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of Bhutan’s highland communities.
The trail winds and undulates, revealing breathtaking Himalayan vistas across deep valleys. After crossing the final spur, you will spot Simkotatsho Lake (4,110m) below. The day concludes as you reach a yak pasture near the lake, where overnight camping is arranged.

Day 6 | Simkota to Thimphu ValleySimkota to Thimphu Valley
After breakfast at camp, begin a gradual climb to a small saddle at 4,150m, where you can enjoy majestic views of Mount Gangkar Puensum and surrounding Himalayan peaks on a clear day.
Descend to a small alpine lake, then ascend to Phume La Pass (4,210m), adorned with colorful prayer flags, offering panoramic views of Thimphu City far below.
The trail then descends gradually through juniper forests to a community hall near Phajodhing (3,870m). Continue downhill through blue pine and juniper forests until reaching the roadhead at Sangaygang on the outskirts of Thimphu Valley.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax after your trek.

Day 7 | Thimphu Valley ExplorationThimphu Valley
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before continuing your exploration of Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.
Marvel at the breathtaking panoramic view of Thimphu City from Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest sitting Buddha statues in the world.
Observe the fascinating Takin, Bhutan’s national animal, at its natural preserve.
Join the local elderly in circumambulating the National Memorial Chorten, a prominent religious structure in the city.
Lunch at Simply Bhutan Restaurant.
Experience the ancient craft of traditional paper making at Jungshi Paper Factory, using authentic Bhutanese techniques.
Take a stroll through the bustling Centenary Farmer Market, where fresh Bhutanese produce and local products are available.
Visit Tashi Chhoe Dzong, known as the “Fortress of the Glorious Religion,” which houses the throne room and offices of His Majesty the King of Bhutan.

Day 8 | Paro – Tiger’s Nest HikeParo Valley
Enjoy early breakfast at the hotel before driving to Tiger’s Nest Base / Parking Lot, the starting point for one of Bhutan’s most iconic pilgrimages.
Embark on a hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest, perched dramatically on a cliffside. This is one of the most stunning and revered landmarks in Bhutan.
Lunch at Taktsang Cafeteria with scenic views of the valley below.
Engage in a traditional Bhutanese experience by playing Archery, the national sport of Bhutan.
Relax and rejuvenate with a Bhutanese hot stone bath, which combines natural minerals with healing khempa herbs for a unique wellness experience.
Dinner at a local farmhouse and overnight stay in Paro.
