Day 1 | Arrival in Paro & Drive to Thimphu ValleyParo and Thimphu Valley
Arrive in Bhutan at Paro International Airport and meet your representative, who will guide you throughout your stay in the Kingdom.
Transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, and check in at your hotel.
Begin exploring Thimphu Valley, home to the seat of Bhutan’s Royal Government and the Central Monastic Body.
Observe the fascinating Takin, Bhutan’s national animal, and visit the Zilukha Nunnery to learn about the lifestyle of nuns residing in the monastery.
Visit Tashi Chhoe Dzong, known as the “Fortress of the Glorious Religion,” which houses the throne room and offices of His Majesty the King of Bhutan.
Enjoy leisure time in Thimphu City.

Day 2 | Thimphu Valley Exploration Thimphu Valley
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning a full day of sightseeing in Thimphu.
Cherish the panoramic view of Thimphu City from Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest sitting Buddha statues in the world.
Join local devotees and elderly residents circumambulating the National Memorial Chorten, one of the most visible religious landmarks in the city.
Lunch at Simply Bhutan Restaurant.
Try your hand at making traditional Bhutanese paper at Jungshi Paper Factory, using ancient Bhutanese methods.
Take a walk through the busiest Centenary Farmer Market, where fresh Bhutanese produce and local goods are available.
Enjoy a short hike along the Wangditse Nature Trail and capture admirable views of Thimphu Valley.
Leisure time in Thimphu City.

Day 3 | Drive to Punakha ValleyPunakha Valley
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Punakha Valley, one of Bhutan’s most scenic and historically significant regions.
Explore Punakha, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan, renowned for its fertile valleys and stunning landscapes.
Journey through spectacular scenery, from high mountain passes to tiered rice fields, following the banks of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers.
Stop at Dochula Pass to capture a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain ranges.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of the ‘Divine Madman’, famed for its phallic symbols and unique local traditions.
Enter the courtyard of Pungthang Dewachen Phodrang – Palace of Great Happiness, the beautiful fortress that serves as the winter residence of Bhutan’s Central Monastic Body.
Walk along the longest suspension bridge and cross the Pho Chu River to experience the valley’s serene beauty.
Leisure time in Khuruthang Town.

Day 4 | Drive to Paro Valley Punakha - Paro Valley
Start your day with an early drive north along the Mo Chu River and enjoy a picnic breakfast at Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, taking in the spectacular bird’s-eye view of the fertile Punakha Valley.
Visit the courtyard of Pungthang Dewachen Phodrang – Palace of Great Happiness, the beautiful fortress that serves as the winter residence of Bhutan’s Central Monastic Body.
Stroll along the longest suspension bridge and cross the Pho Chu River to immerse yourself in the valley’s natural beauty.
Lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your journey.
Drive towards Paro Valley, one of the most picturesque regions of Bhutan, famed for its fertile rice fields and crystal-clear rivers meandering through the valley.
Check in at your hotel and enjoy leisure time in Paro Town.

Day 5 | Bumdra Trek - StartParo Valley
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning your day.
Walk past the Drukyel Dzong – “Fortress of the Victorious Bhutanese”, an impressive and imposing sight that offers a glimpse into Bhutan’s rich history.
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples originally built in the 7th century.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Begin the Bumdra Trek adventure with a drive up to Sang Choekor (2,800m) to meet the ponies while they are being loaded. The initial 1–2 hour ascent along a ridge is shaded and occasionally steep, leading to a clearing adorned with prayer flags and offering spectacular views of both Paro and Do Chhu valleys.
Continue for 1–2 hours to reach Chhoe Chhoe Tse Lhakhang, a temple nestled on the mountainside. The trail then ascends steeply to a temple overlooking Paro airport and the snow-capped Himalayas.
Hike through an ancient forest for approximately 40 minutes until you reach a wide meadow decorated with sacred chortens and prayer flags.
Overnight at Bumdra Monastery (3,800m), also known as the Cave of a Thousand Prayers.

Duration: 4 Hours | Camp Altitude: 3,800m
Day 6 | Bumdra Trek – End & Paro ValleyParo Valley
After a hearty breakfast amidst jaw-dropping landscapes, take a moment to soak in the views and perhaps hang some prayer flags of your own.
Begin the descent through the ancient pine and rhododendron forest along the monks’ zig-zag trail. Over 1–2 hours, catch glimpses of golden-roofed temples below, marking your return from the wilderness.
About an hour later, arrive at the gates of Taktsang, with a steep descent to a waterfall followed by an ascent on steps, leading you into the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Marvel at this holy site perched impossibly on a sheer cliff 900 meters above Paro Valley.
Return to your hotel, check-in, and relax.

Day 7 | Depart ParoParo Valley
